Project – HS2 Maintenance Facility

Shawton Utilities was appointed as the main contractor to deliver a full turnkey package for HS2’s Maintenance Facility at Coleshill. The scope included design, civils, structural steelwork, cladding, and M&E installation, all delivered within HS2’s critical path programme.

The project played a key role in maintaining progress on the main construction works, ensuring activity could continue during planned possessions and unforeseen breakdowns. The completed facility now serves as a central hub for HS2 operations across the Birmingham area, supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects.
