About Shawton Utilities
Delivering Infrastructure for the Energy Transition
At Shawton Utilities, we specialise in delivering the critical infrastructure that powers the UK’s renewable energy transition. As an accredited Independent Connections Provider (ICP) and Balance of Plant (BOP) contractor, we work with developers, investors, and the public sector to bring large-scale renewable projects online, safely, efficiently, and compliantly.
Our expertise covers battery energy storage systems (BESS), utility-scale solar PV, and turnkey electrical infrastructure, including substations and grid connections. From initial design to project delivery and ongoing support, we provide a complete service that reduces risk, streamlines delivery, and ensures compliance with industry standards.
We understand the challenges of developing and connecting complex energy projects. That’s why we take a partnership approach, combining engineering know-how with clear communication, rigorous project management, and a focus on long-term performance.
